Architecture that responds to its natural environment transcends time because it speaks a language particular to that environment and not to a fad or popular architecture style. The bird's nest is built form, but it responds to the nature around it (the tree). It incorporates the tree branches into the design of the nest and it uses the local materials for building. The same way the bird's nest feels part of the tree, the built form should feel part of its site.
