Our leadership team has extensive Architecture, Planning, Interiors, Real Estate Development, and Construction experience in multiple states and abroad. Our work includes high rise and 300-unit multi-building urban redevelopments, for private clients as well as Federal and State Agencies, including GSA, NPS, LIHTC, HUD, and HPTIP. We are Master Builders and Through our extensive knowledge of construction costs, construction practices, and innovative uses of materials and assemblies, we have been able to maximize budgets and reap financial rewards for our clients.

MARTIN A. SMARGIASSI
AIA, NCARB
FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
Martin A. Smargiassi brings vast experience in Real Estate Development and a diverse background in the AEC industry, from small scale residential to urban planning, mixed-use, and high-rise. Martin is a Strategic Planner, Licensed Architect, & Master Builder with over 30 years of experience. He attended Harvard University, Graduate School of Design and received a degree in Engineering and Bachelor of Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Martin has led multi-disciplinary real estate development, architectural, engineering, and construction teams through all phases of project development, ranging from High rise, 300 unit projects to healthcare clinics, luxury residential, & boutique hotels. He has collaborated with city, state, and federal municipalities, as well as planned, designed, and coordinated over 250 projects in the United States and abroad (both public and private).

Martin’s extensive portfolio includes work as Director at Brady Sullivan Properties Real Estate Development Corporation and as Principal Architect at Emeritus Development, as well as strategic partnerships & collaborations with Amacher & Associates and Thrive Architects.
SIMON EASTWICK
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
With over 40 years in business development and marketing, Simon Eastwick brings a diverse set of skills to Innovative Collaborations’ leadership team. His extensive background includes working with Fortune 500 companies (among others) and creating (and driving) clear, high-impact messages establishing people, products, services, and companies as marketplace leaders.
Simon's background includes working for HP, Dell, Compaq, Microsoft, and Oracle. He has managed global corporate communications, and nationwide Sales & Marketing while on staff and on a project basis as a consultant.
SHEILA TRAVI
MANAGING BROKER & PUBLIC RELATIONS
Sheila Travi brings a diversified background of over 35 years in the Financial Services, Real Estate, and Construction industries, as well as a background in sales, marketing, and public relations. Her experience includes Putnam Mutual Fund Co. and Capital Analysts of New England where she was a business financial planner for high net worth privately held companies, as well as Boston EquiServe overseeing publicly held corporations’ annual meetings.

As an entrepreneur and experienced leader, Sheila has co-founded multiple businesses including a Design-Build construction firm, and a Construction Inspection Consulting firm for banking and financial industries. She achieved a BS in Economics & Finance at Bentley University.
Sheila is both an active licensed real estate broker and licensed Construction Supervisor. She attained a registered securities representative license, as well as several real estate designations.
JORIK GJONGJINI
PROJECT ARCHITECT
Jorik Gjongjini has over 16 years of experience in architectural firms in Europe and in architectural firms and Design-Build companies in Boston, Las Vegas, and New York. His experience is focused on high-end residential developments but also includes projects from the Las Vegas Convention Center to offices, religious objects, and healthcare. He has often been in a leading position in architectural teams as a senior project member. An early explorer and adopter of the newest technologies in AEC, he has often helped architectural teams to establish BIM workflows and standards to streamline project development. He also trains the team to adopt the new technologies in a smooth way.

Jorik has been project architect and a core member of Innovative Collaborations for many years. He is the Director of our Albania office, overseeing our expanding European architecture team.
SUNG YUN LEE FIORE
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT & PROPERTY MANAGER
Sung Yun Lee Fiore brings her experience as a Realtor® for 9 years, from 2002 to 2005 and 2017 to the present. Her strengths come from understanding the nature of real estate and the needs of a growing international architecture and development company. She has worked in administration with Dana Farber, NSTAR, Genzyme, and others, and knows the ins and outs of customer relations and business development.
Sung Yun graduated from Lee Institute of Real Estate for Salespersons & Brokers, as well as the Graduate REALTOR® Institute. She has traveled to 34 countries around the world and has degrees in Environmental Studies and Asian Studies from the University of Vermont.
ALLIE BEALS, PCM
MARKETING MANAGER
Allie Beals is an experienced young professional in the creative marketing industry. Having a Business & Marketing degree and certified as a Professional Marketer from the AMA, she uses her skills including branding, communications, creative marketing, email marketing, event planning, graphic design, marketing project management, photography, social media management, script writing and directing video shoots, video production, and web design & development. Her work experience includes marketing at First Realty Management in Boston, MA, and creative marketing & communications at Tech Etch in Plymouth, MA.

Allie's side passions are her own art & design business ABeals Art, freelancing for various marketing firms, and fundraising, social media, and marketing for Romania Reborn, a Christian non-profit for orphan & foster care.
FLORENCE MABELANE
OFFICE MANAGER
Florence Mabelane has over 30 years of experience in the Education sector, where she held pivotal roles such as Deputy Principal, Head of Department, teacher, and Secretary of a School Governing Body.

Holding a Masters in Educational Management and Leadership, as well as a Bachelor's in Education, she offers a unique blend of academic expertise and over three decades of management experience. With her seasoned organizational skills, Florence excels in creating rhythms that ensure tasks align seamlessly with our goals.
JASMINE SMARGIASSI

Jasmine Smargiassi comes from a family of Real Estate Developers, Builders, Architects & Engineers.

Jasmine brings her energy, passion, and strengths as a budding entrepreneur, young businesswoman, and future leader to Innovative Collaborations. She has an outstanding eye for beauty and a strong determination and ability to press through.

While maintaining her academic studies, Jasmine is interning to learn the ropes of the business.​ Most recently, she has produced content for marketing, assisted with office management, and sat in on business financial meetings. We look forward to her continued growth with the firm.
